Susana Schaeffer

I am Susana Schaeffer Dávila, Guest Linguist at the SSessttau Academy in Paafaa on the island of Naadad on the planet Umuto. I was, along with Roger Kerr, among the members of the Haddad Expedition, the first humans to set foot on this planet.

I was born and raised in the Republic of Greater Panama, but received much of my education in the Celestial Republic, in Angelperch University. I had the good fortune to have published a paper on protocolless communication before the gladifers arrived, and so was an early member of the team which established communication with them (even though that paper turned out to be be of minimal use to the team).

When Jerry Montilla made the offer to join the Haddad expedition I accepted. Since then we have split up, with Jerry on DDiimudo mostly studying modern SSildifian languages, Roger on Poto mostly studying Seezzitonian and other ancient SSildifian languages, and I on Naadad mostly studying Naadadian languages.
